56th Annual GUVMA Rodeo 2016

Every year, the Glasgow University Veterinary Medical Association (GUVMA) organises the Annual GUVMA Rodeo, an animal charity fundraising event.

The rodeo is on the 16th of April, Sat, 11am to 5pm at the Garscube Estate, Glasgow.

It is a family oriented event that aims to provide a day of fun and entertainment for everyone, while supporting charitable causes related to animal welfare.

This year, Students for Animals In Need (SAIN), Trusty Paws, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and Horse Rescue Scotland, will be the main beneficiaries of our event.
Riding for the Disabled will also be benefiting from the rodeo through our annual raffle ticket sales.

What will be happening on the day of the event:

- Dog Unite Walk by Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (More info on our facebook page)
- Animal showcases such as falconry, guide dog demonstration etc.
- Opportunities for close animal interactions with dogs, small furies, reptiles and more!
- Stalls/booths from over 20 animal charities
- Stalls from Commercial organisation & local business selling hand-made crafts etc
- Stalls selling food & beverages
- Games from laser quest to bouncy castles!
- Face-painting
- Raffle
