Location Cardiff, South Wales Vacancy Type Permanent - Full Time Salary Competitive Hours 37.5 Per Week An exciting opportunity for Clinical Service Manager to join existing staff team. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will be required to deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence. The Hospital is a low secure hospital providing multidisciplinary care for up to 20 adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability, who may also present mental illness, personality disorder and an autistic spectrum condition. Treatment programmes aim to reduce the presenting mental health issues and offending behaviours in a low secure setting, where risk can be managed and reduced in order to allow service users to step down into less restrictive environments. Successful candidates will be motivated to work in a service that offers involvement and empowerment for service users, contributing to the development and enhancement of nursing services at site. What we’d like from you: NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered) Extensive clinical and management experience Ward Manager with over 2 years experience Ability to harness the commitment and potential of others Fine tuned decision making skills Excellent organisational capability Effective communication skills Motivated with a strong “can do” attitude A role model to other staff - providing advice and support to promote good practice You must be Registered Nurse to be considered for this role and have experience in senior role.
