I am a very outgoing, creative and hard-working person; I am friendly and approachable. I am always prepared for a challenge and willing to participate in any extra training that is required. I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual and I enjoy working as a team but I am also as equally happy working alone.
From previous studies, I have 17 GCSE’s including science, maths, English and Welsh. I have a certificate in Cache level 3 in childcare and education along with dementia training, administrating medication, first aid certificates, paediatric first aid and food hygiene level 2 through my former, and updated training in my current role as a care worker.
I believe I am a very patient person and through having a large young family I am able to care for children from birth onwards which has made me very independent, also my nan having late stages of cancer, I am able to control my emotions and deal with difficult situations.
I have previous work experience working in a school and nursery environment which I have placement records to support. I was set out targets for each week that I was there and activities that carried out on a one to one basis with children with special educational needs or learning difficulties. I set out many tasks such as reading, writing skills, painting and sticking, and sports activities to support the Foundation Phase criteria. I found this very enjoyable and this is one of my many reasons why I would love to go into the teaching/ school environment.
I hold a full driving license and I have my own transport, I also have a current CRB through my current employer but it is not on the updated.
