Close to the Inquisitor’s Palace in the once reserved Collacchio area of a medieval town, a 450 yr old house stands proud to tell the town’s story of knights, merchant ships and of a great siege won against a powerful Ottoman Empire. Centuries old graffiti of ships with sails and oars still grace the bedroom (ex-house chapel) walls where a canopied bed now welcomes weary travellers.
