I have a litter of rare pure-bred Cŵn Defaid Cymreig/Welsh Sheepdog puppies, available from sale.
The puppies were born on the 17th November 2015, and in line with possible future 10 week legislation are ready to leave for their new homes now !
They are micro-chipped, parvovirus vaccinated, wormed, and Vet checked, come with a minimum four generation, printed pedigree, and four weeks free Insurance! Both parents are from working lines and registered with Cymdeithas y Cŵn Defaid Cymreig /The Welsh Sheepdog Society. Dad has 'breeding licence' granted by the Society.
This breed is highly motivated and extremely intelligent! Working homes such as herding, farm,shepherd, search & rescue are perfect, as is agility etc. all such homes are advantageous, especially for the dog itself, and the continuation, well being, and future of the breed! The Ci Defaid Cymreig will also make a good pet / companion dog !!! But only in the right home!!! This breed like most breeds will love to lie on your sofa, and will do so with the least amount of encouragement. However this breed is NOT a couch potato!!!! and will not appreciate it, if you are! if you have a genuinely physically active home lifestyle they will be fine with you !!!

Y Ci Defaid Cymreig, The Welsh Sheepdog, is probably, the best working sheepdog in the world, and the indigenous sheepdog breed of Cymru/Wales. The Welsh Sheepdog is an ancient and rare breed that can be traced back in Welsh written records to approximately the 14th century, amazingly, they can still be found working stock, performing search and rescue tasks, and featuring prominently on the agility circuit's in the 21st century, not bad, for an old Drovers!
