Warrington Amateur Radio Club is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. The club has been going strong since 1947 and has a current membership of over 50 people. We have a well equipped 'Radio Shack' and meeting room based within the Grappenhall Community Centre. We are opening our doors on April 1st and will be welcoming interested members of the public to see Amateur Radio in operation. The Mayor of Warrington has graciously agreed to attend at 1pm to help us celebrate this landmark in the clubs long history. Members of the public will be able to see the latest Amateur Radio equipment being operated and talk to club members about our fascinating.
